Rochester living

These kids couldn't be any better of friends! James, Owen and Bode came to visit us in Rochester and we went to quarry hill where we went to the nature center and went on a walk. Then we headed over to Foster Arrend Park to swim at the beach. It sure is nice having family so close.

It was quite funny when Zola decided that she was going to help Andrew eat. She grabbed a cooked broccoli and would take a bite and spit it out onto his table. She did it over and over again and Andrew kept trying to eat the tiny pieces of spit. It wasn't working so well so Zola decided to start spitting into her hand and putting it in his mouth. Poor Andrew. I thought it was so funny.
We got a bunch of hand me down dance outfits from a friend and Zola decided to wear this one as her outfit for the day. I don't think she realized how much attention she would attract. As soon as we got home she changed back into normal clothes... right in time for her dance class. Lol.
 Zola at Dance.

Dennis wasn't used to sitting around waiting for Zola to be done with dance. He found interesting ways to stay entertained. It is usually Zola that has to wait for Dennis.
Our kids do a lot of this: Wrestle.
I can't get over it. My kids are awesome.

mothers day, tball and other bits

Well, We got home from Hawaii the day before Mother's Day and Ryan wasn't feeling too great. He slept through church and remembered that afternoon what day it was. So he and the kids made brownies.

 Cutest little chefs in town.
 The Diamondbacks
We spent a lot of time at the pool in June.

During one of our family history gatherings Andrew zonked out in my old bedroom. Too cute not to document.
 Me and my gal.
Zola is impressive. She can roll her tummy. She was showing us while looking like this! lol
Andrew loves his reflection no matter how blurry it is.

 Tball Champ Dennis!

He is getting really good at hitting the ball this year. It is amazing how much of a difference one year can make. He had a couple of impressive plays while playing pitcher and first base (the only positions that he likes)

Our bathroom remodel has provided some interesting experiences for this dude. yuck.

You could say I didn't have the best of sleep that night.
We have some disputes about who gets to drive at home depot.
He doesn't quite get it yet that he has to go feet first. If Ryan weren't there he would have flipped over.

Our first bike ride! We went to visit the new school! Andrew really enjoyed the ride.
Who gets sick in the summer!??

pics that cant be forgotten

Since I use our blog to make the kids' year books, I need to put some pics in here that I can't forget to add to the books... even though they are soooo old. They are from Ryan's phone.

Watching hockey with their dad.
Zola at the easter egg hunt.
Andrew's first time in the ocean. He wasn't so sure.
