 Because everyone needs a helmet when they eat breakfast.

 Dance pictures! We are getting excited for the recital.

 I was trying to take a quick nap and this cutie bug climbs up and gives me a kiss then shoves a wet balloon in my mouth.

Minnesota Children's Museum

So, Larissa came up to Minneapolis last minute to try to get their house rented... But the kids needed a day to just play so they called us up and we skipped school and met up at the children's museum. We had so much fun. 

 Andrew seriously loved the ping pong balls that go in the pipes with the water. He could have stayed there all day.

 There was an eric carle exhibit.

 And, Andrew can always find the animals... He LOVES animals.

 Dennis wrote his name on his face but he was looking in a mirror so all the writing was backwards.

 ... and then with some devine intervention Im sure.... we ran into Chrissy and her kids. We thought they were out of town and they rarely go to the museum... but they came on the right day! Yay for family.

March

 Hockey season came to an end. This year, Dennis was definitely one of the better skaters out there. He was on the most advanced scrimmage group the whole year. He mastered stopping.

 We had a fabulously warm March. Springtime air feels so good on the skin.

 We tried our hand at making maple syrup this year and it was soooo yummy.

 We planted our seeds indoors this year. You can see our crockpot boiling down the maple syrup in the background and our geraniums wintering inside.

Zola: "Mommy, when I get older, can I take care of the earth?"

 Sunday cuties

Nothing sweeter than a baby deep in sleep. Deep breathing, soft warm skin, "dreaming of nursing" as he sucks his tongue. I love that he sleeps with me from 5am-7am... For sure my favorite part of the night. 

 Then when he wakes up he gave me 5 kisses and a hug. I think I'll keep him. My lover boy.

 Andrew kills me with his selfie smile. He walks around holding my phone and smiling. This is it. squinting with one eye.

 Finally, we got our snow day! I wasn't quite ready for winter to be over yet.

 I got some dirty looks after I took this picture in the middle of the prayer... but, I had to capture my sweet boys praying.
