Dr. Ryan Kevin Funk

Ryan's parents came into town for a couple of days for Ryan's graduation. I was working most of the time (its the busiest time of year at school). So unfortunately this is the only picture that I have of their visit. 

Zola is such a happy baby. She loves interacting with people these days... She will tell you a whole story in goo gaa and a few squeals. 

 Ryan graduated from Medical School! I am so proud of him. He did an excellent job. Dennis got to walk across the stage with him. Lucky boy. I,unfortunately, forgot my camera at home- so these are the best pictures that I have... from my camera.

Congrats Ryan!

Ryan's parents had to go to the airport immediately after the ceremony in order to get to Eugene, Oregon for Ryan's brother, Taylor's graduation from Law School.

*Also happening that day: my mom had surgery on her knee, my sister in law Chrissy and my brother Randy had their baby boy, and I had the flu. It was a busy day.

all smiles

We are so blessed to have such a happy baby. She only gets sad when she has to spit up. Otherwise, she is all smiles. She loves it when we interact with her. She loves looking at faces. She loves her brother. He loves her too. She smiles whenever you smile. She is even starting to laugh. Just the other day she was grabbing onto the bars of her crib. 

The other night I brought her to a banquet for school and she was fussy unless she was with me. When I handed her off she would look around until she found me and just stare at me. She definitely loves her mama. I don't know if its because I know how to get her to spit up or if she just likes me.

E: no. my mom says I can't. Only boys can take off their shirts. Not girls.

Eloise was playing with the plastic animals at our house.

E: why do you have these animals?
D: because heavenly father made them for me.

Cinco de mayo

Just testing this out. Posting on my new phone could be fun if it works. We had a cinco de mayo party at church. Dennis invited his best friend Eloise. So you see a picture of his favorite girlfriends together_Eloise and Stella.








Well. I guess that didn't work out so well. I will have to figure out how to rotate the pictures. 

the updates

On April 29th, Zola was blessed at church so we had a full house. Ryan's parents, Kevin and Maree came in to town for a couple of days and so did my parents, Ron and Robyn. We had an excellent time. Here we went to Ted Drewes for the best frozen custard in the world! 

 We also celebrated my birthday while everyone was in town. I turned 29 on the 3rd and we celebrated a couple of days early.

 Here are the pictures of Zola on her blessing day. My mom made the dress, Maree made the little booties and my friend got us the flower for her head. She was so beautiful.

 I love it that she is getting chunky.

I am very blessed to have such wonderful kids... and parents, and in-laws, and husband. I love them all!

last day of school

We were so sad to say goodbye to UCCC. It was a wonderful experience for Dennis. On the last day Dennis brought cupcakes to share with his friends. Around the table: Lyla, Cosima, Aiden, Lyla, Ella, Dennis, Zoe, Luna, and Camryn.

 Ella was Dennis' favorite friend.
