January Utah trip

Andrew LOVED Jazzie. Throwing balls to her was a favorite.

I went on a girls trip while out there. I love my college roomies... all nine of us and more that couldn't come...
 Provo canyon on snow shoes.

 Painting night.

 My girls.
It snowed that night. It was beautiful. I see god's love in the beauty of the earth.

Provo Temple Open house. We were in the temple when my auntie got her angel wings. She is now at peace with Jesus in his mansions on high... A place so beautiful, we can't even imagine it; we don't even have words to describe its beauty. The temple is the closest place I could be. I will miss my auntie Starr.
 Gotta love those expressions.

We played Chopped. It was a blast. Here are a few of our creations.

When in Utah, you've gotta hit the slopes.
You can see Zola and Ryan in between Dennis and I on the lift. Dennis almost killed me taking me through the woods. I was not expecting to hit so many bumps almost like moguls. He just bounced right through and I ended up in the snow bank.
 Zola had a blast.

Skiing really wears you out. Zola fell asleep on the way home and had a hard time waking up for dinner. poor girl.
traveling without children does not happen ever... My train ride to Provo from Kaysville was great. I took a nap.
I had a job to do... covering a couch.
This is my girl, my home slice, my "sistah" and one of my bffs.

The couch that didn't get recovered yet and the love seat that did.

My Beautiful and talented girl had a birthday.
I'm so blessed to have her in my life.

We went to the children's museum.

 Cousins! HC and Andrew.
Saying goodbye is always hard. We love Nonnie and papa.
The airline attendants were so good to Zola on her bday. They even had the whole plane sing to her.

Mid January Playing catch up

Zola has such beautiful hair!
Andrew LOVES to be just like the big boys... going around the house making gun noises.
I can't make this up guys. I tried to teach Andrew baby sign language like Dennis and Zola, albeit not as consistently. But this kid definitely doesn't need it! This is his "more"face. I had to take several pictures to prove that he does it all the time. It kills me. I keep loving this guy more and more.

One of the presents that the kids got for christmas was an eight foot trampoline. We set it up in the toy room for the winter. Best. Decision. Ever.

Fun chocolate bowls that we made for the sister missionaries.
Glow sticks in the tub add some fun to our winter days.
frosty windows are pretty fun too.

My kids were so good in church. They were sitting shoulder to shoulder without bugging each other the whole time. They could have spread out but they were happy bunched together. My heart was full. I love how they love each other.
I was so proud of Dennis at his piano recital. You could tell that his teacher was too. Dennis did an amazing job at his first recital. He played "little Indian boy" and memorized it. He even was able to play through a mistake without missing a beat. I'm a proud mama.

Playing catch up 12/31 to 1/4

I got an air popper popcorn machine for christmas and we love it! Andrew thinks it is pretty exciting. His expressions are the best.

My pretty Zola wearing the necklace that she picked out at grandma GG's giveaway. We found out later that it is the necklace that GGG Zola wore everyday. It was very fitting and sweet. I have a picture of Grandma Zola and me wear she has it on.
Andrew is wanting to grow up so fast... He is so happy and proud to sit at a chair without a booster.

Ryan and Dennis Skiing at Welch Village.

He's a pro. They even went down some (Minnesota) black diamonds...
Dennis had another great Hockey season.

Andrew sitting up at the counter like the big kids.
Dennis is one very strong kid. He went to the wrestling practices this year to see if he liked it. He had this kid around the waist and he couldn't pry Dennis's hands apart... even with the adults help. Lol.
