May part 2

Dennis and Zola are ready for a summer of water fun.
Andrew is not one to miss out of a photo opp.
 We love Nutella.

It wasn't the most restful sleep I ever had... but I woke up feeling very blessed to have such awesome kids.

I finally finished the kids' quilts. They aren't perfect but they are complete.
They always talk about the dangers of co sleeping for the baby but what about for the parents! I woke up with my head pounding because the circulation was cut off to the rest of my body. You can see the puffy face. And yet, I didn't want to move Andrew because that meant that he would wake up.

 He is a happy kid.
I was pretty fun watching Andrew at Zola's dance recital. He loved the curtain, the music, and the dancing. He would point and squeal with excitement when the curtain would open to reveal the dancers. He also wouldn't let anyone take his dress shirt off of his left arm.

Zola did a fantastic job at her first dance recital.
In a small town it seems like everyone goes to the recitals because they all know someone. So, Our neighbor gave Zola some balloons for doing such a great job.

Andrew loves his brother. Here he just wanted to cuddle while Dennis was trying to get his reading done.

Zola's end of year program at school. They sang some songs.
Miss Liz and Miss Lorie were her teachers.

falling asleep in my arms is not something that happens often. But the week before my California girls trip it happened a couple of times.
 We love to bike.

may part 1

Happy Birthday James!

Dennis's end of year program at school. It was pretty cute.

s'mores.
Our new favorite thing to do... go make a fire to make dinner.

Mother's day... I was banned to my bed until breakfast was ready... which ended up not being until 10am! Well, a lot happened during that time... including Andrew taking his second bath.

They sure do clean up nice. I am lucky to be a mom.
Andrew really didn't want to leave the cart at home depot. He wedged himself down in the cart and I couldn't get him out.

Our kitchen is looking so good.

april part 2

While I am doing laundry, Andrew accessorizes his outfit. Underwear is his favorite thing to put on. He doesn't care whose underwear. He walks around with them around his ankles.
Going to watch Dennis play soccer is more difficult these days. Andrew wants to play sooo bad. He runs around kicking the ball and he wants to join in the field. He is getting really good at dribbling. Dennis started the season out pretty timid. He was hesitant because he didn't want to get hurt and he couldn't read the ball so sometimes he did get hurt. But by the end of the season, he was being aggressive and even scored a couple of times. We are so proud of him and his improvements.
We decided to go to the circus. Andrew just LOVED it! He would point and say something that meant he was excited... whenever he saw an animal. the 7 tigers were really impressive and the kids loved it when they roared.
 at the circus.
Then we went to chipotle for dinner afterwards and these cuties were too awesome not to take a picture. I love them to pieces. Andrew's cheese was taken to the next level.... with the head tilt.
He definitely knows how to communicate without words... but then he saw I was taking a pictures and immediately changed to a smile. He wasn't that mad.

Don't you just want to kiss them?
Completely relaxed... he's got his soccer ball and his daddy. Can't get better than that.
