Webster's Dictionary:
thick (thik) adj. 1. of relatively great extent from side to side 2. measured between opposite surfaces 3. close and abundant 4.viscous 5. dense 6. husky; hoarse; blurred 7. stupid
You can imagine my reaction when one of my students said, "Mrs. Funk and I are getting thick".
With some clarification from the class I guess calling someone thick is a good thing and means that you have weight where you want it (where guys like it). hmm... news to me.

oh that's funny! i'm sure i wouldn't take that as a good comment, but you really are not "THICK" in the normal meaning!
