I always love going to the condo. The beach is so perfect. Not many people are ever in front of my parents place. The sand is like sugar and the water is such a pretty blue. My dad goes walking 5 miles everyday along the beach. I went with him a couple of times but never made it all the way.

the match
Match day was Friday, March 16th. It was pretty crazy. All of Ryan's classmates crammed into a small auditorium and one by one went up on the stage to open an envelope telling them where they would be going to residency. We were so happy to find out that we would be headed back to Minnesota after his intern year here is St. Louis. He matched in Radiation Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
It will be super nice to be only an hour and a half away from my parents and a couple of hours away from all of my siblings. Ryan really loved the Mayo Clinic when he spent a month there this past year. He loves the caliber of Frisbee players. He loves the size of the town (very similar to Idaho Falls where he grew up). I don't have an opinion of the town yet since I have only driven through it a couple of times. We are excited for the change but are really going to miss our life here in St. Louis. See a picture of us here.

panama city beach (a week in pictures)
It was such a great vacation- we loved to just relax and play at the beach and at the pool. Dennis is becoming quite the swimmer. I will have to take pictures next week of the pool... we are going back again for a week!

airplane yogurt
It sure is fun hearing all the things that Dennis comes up with. He used to call plain yogurt - airplane yogurt since he thought we were saying plane yogurt.
While putting together a mobile for Zola, Dennis said, "Heavenly Father made this hard for us to do, didn't he?" and then again this morning looking for the other strawberry oatmeal packet he said, "Heavenly Father made this hard for me to do."
One cold day I told Dennis to put on his jacket while we were headed out the door for school. He responded, "Thank you for thinking about me."
The other night he decided to sing himself to sleep with one song. He must not have been able to choose which song because he didn't even finish a full phrase from a single song- they were all mixed up. I wish I had a recording of it because it was pretty hilarious. He included insy winsy spider, hickory dickory dock, I am a child of God, The ABCs, and a lot that we couldn't figure out where it came from. He ended his masterpiece with a robust, "...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GOD". And that was the last we heard from him. He fell asleep.
And my favorite these days: "I begot" instead of "I forgot"
