Christmas preparations

For the gift exchange this year Zola made Holland a princess dressup. Here she is painting the crown. She was so proud..

With Andrew being so fussy it was really hard to get anything done around the house. And after being sick for weeks, our house really needed some tlc. I finally compromised and decided to wear him. However, its surprisingly difficult to fold laundry, do dishes or pick up toys with the ergo on and andrew needed to be upright and even leaning forward a little to be comfortable. It helped but only minimally. We just got used to living in a mess. Notice the choice in backdrop for the picture... the only decent looking place in my house. The wall.

This was my view down on him. Pretty cute.
Zola also helped me make ties for Baron. She is starting to look a little bit like the toddler me... just a little bit in the cheeks. But she gets her personality from me. She is constantly singing a song or playing with random objects pretending they are people... pencils, blocks, balls, anything!
Here is the princess gown. She had a little help from grandma with that part
Here is Andrews first bath at home! He was 4 or 5 weeks old. I just didnt want to dry out his skin. And lets be honest, we had a crazy month. He liked it!

I finally got one room clean!
One thing that Zola loves to say is, " thats enough". She likes to serve people dinner and she tells herself when its enough. Then she started telling other people when they were serving enough. If we listened, we would only eat as much as zola. Cute girl.
She is practicing her emotions and sayings. One day when i wouldnt let her watch a movie in the car while we ran errands she said, "are you kidding me?"

She also often says,"that makes you so mad".
